Dry Tomato, Star Anise, Cumin, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves, Coriander, Mint, Salt
In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil, add 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon of urad dal, and 1/2 teaspoon of chana dal. Sauté until the dals turn golden.
Add 1 cup of sliced onions, sauté well. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of Spice Diaries’ Tomato Bath Powder and mix well.
Add 1 cup of washed rice, 2 cups of water, salt to taste, and cook until the rice is fully cooked. Serve hot with raita or yogurt.
